Child Safety

Every young person deserves a safe, respectful environment

Child protection is central to how Araya recruits, trains, supervises and responds.

Child protection commitment

Safety is built into the way Araya runs

Araya is committed to the safety, wellbeing, dignity and inclusion of every child and young person involved in the program. Students should feel respected, listened to and protected from harm.

Concerns are recorded, reviewed and escalated promptly. Staff, tutors, mentors and volunteers are expected to follow clear conduct, supervision and reporting requirements.
