Building brighter futures. Together.

About Us

Backing young people with discipline, belief and opportunity

Araya is built for families in Inala, Richlands, Durack, Forest Lake and surrounding suburbs who want their children supported after school, surrounded by positive role models and connected to a stronger future.

Our Story

A local tuition program with a wider purpose

Araya Tuition is being shaped as a practical, community-minded program for young people who need more than a quiet desk. We combine study support with mentoring, wellbeing, sport connection and encouragement from trusted adults.

Students

Who We Help

Araya supports students from Year 1 to Year 12 who need structure, encouragement and a safe place to focus. We are especially committed to families living in Inala, Richlands, Durack, Forest Lake, Doolandella, Darra and nearby suburbs.

Purpose

Why We Exist

Ability is not enough when a young person lacks support, confidence or access to opportunity. Araya exists to close that gap with consistent study routines, trusted mentors and practical pathways that help students believe effort can change their future.

Community

How We Serve

We bring families, volunteers, tutors, mentors, drivers, sports clubs, universities, services and local businesses together around one mission: helping young people become disciplined learners, respectful leaders and hopeful contributors.

Our Promise

We do more than supervise homework

Araya creates an environment where students are expected to try, encouraged when they struggle and celebrated when they grow. Every session is designed to help students settle, focus, practise, ask questions and leave with a stronger habit or clearer next step.

For younger students, that may mean reading confidence, maths fluency, homework completion or learning how to stay on task. For senior students, Araya also opens conversations about character, career direction, responsibility and life choices. Our goal is not only better marks. Our goal is stronger young people.

Families can expect a respectful environment, clear communication, child-safe practice and a team that wants students to feel known, supported and challenged in healthy ways.

Our Values

Simple values that guide every session

These values shape how we speak with students, how volunteers serve, and how families experience the program.
