Tutor Volunteer
Araya tutors support students in math, English, homework routines and patient learning habits after school in Inala.
Tutors help students understand schoolwork, practise foundational skills and build the confidence to ask questions. The role includes math and English support, homework help, reading, revision and preparation for class tasks.
We also welcome specialist tutors who can support students with learning difficulties, additional learning needs or low confidence after repeated academic setbacks.
Responsibilities
Help students organise tasks, understand instructions and complete homework with integrity.
Strengthen core skills through explanation, practice, reading, writing and problem solving.
Encourage effort, calm persistence and the belief that progress comes through practice.
