Volunteer Role Description

This role description outlines the expectations for mentors, tutors, sport helpers and workshop supporters who volunteer with Araya Tuition.

Core Responsibilities

• Support students with patience, respect and consistency.
• Follow Araya child safety, privacy and supervision requirements.
• Communicate concerns to the program lead promptly.
• Maintain current Blue Card or exemption status where required.

Screening and Induction

Volunteers complete Araya screening, induction and child safety orientation before supporting students. Blue Card or exemption requirements are confirmed before child-related work begins.
